Governing body

HPPBZ is governed by a three-member Board of Directors, which is responsible for managing the organization.

The board appointed and gave authority to the Country Director - Susanne Jensen - to lead and coordinate the NGO’s day-to-day affairs. The organization has 20 active members.

Legal status

HPPBZ is registered as a:

Non-Governmental-Organization in the Ministry of Human Development in Belize, with certificate number 84 / 07 and registration date of July 19, 2007.
Non-Financial Business & Profession in the Financial Intelligence Unit with registration number F0000-14259.

HPPBZ became registered in the Department of General Sales Tax (GST) in 2014 with the Tax Identification Number (TIN) 140427.
